The chart below illustrates the direct correlation between the number of words a child reads daily and the percentile rank in standardized reading assessments.
*percentile ranking means that on a particular assessment a student scored better than their peers. If a student scores in the 90th percentile rank, their score was higher than 90% of the students who took the test.
